Alaya was built to invest in these farmers, the nature in which they work, and the health of tea-growing regions’ ecosystems in India. Alaya Tea offers loose leaf tea (versus a tea-bag) as they believe tea should be drunk fresh and plastic-free. They also use 100% compostable bags with a compostable zipper, allowing customers to reseal the pouch between brews and preserve freshness.
